This kit is designed to be perfectly compatible with RED KOMODO and KOMODO-X cinema cameras, with a RED KOMODO top plate that fits perfectly to the camera body. The dual NATO rails mean that placement isn’t an issue: find the best place for your handle with ease. And once you’ve found it, the NATO rail’s safety catches will ensure a steady hold.
Fully Customisable
For building out your rig further, the RED KOMODO top handle and top plate both feature a versatile array of mounting points. Choose from 1/4″ or 3/8″ threads, along with NATO or QD points, in any combination that you need. All threaded points are made from stainless steel with Helicoil fittings, to prevent thread stripping or binding.
Sliding Handle
Add a perfectly balanced carrying handle onto your camera. The handle mounts onto any standard NATO rail with side to side adjustment. To adjust the balance, simply unlock the lever, and slide the handle bar into position for the camera build, whether it’s a compact build or a larger front-heavy setup. Two spring-loaded safety stops will prevent the handle bar from accidentally sliding out completely.
