Happy Retirement Dave!
As the year comes to a close, we want to take a special moment to say goodbye to our incredible machinist, Dave, who is entering a well-deserved retirement.
Dave is the man that started up our machine shop from scratch many years ago. He knew how big of a job this was and he took it head on without hesitation (after calling us all mad). In the time he’s been with us, he’s passed on his many years of wisdom and knowledge and for that we are truly grateful.
Fun fact: Dave’s made every single LeftField baseplate ever! This man is a precision machinist at heart who cares deeply about his craft, and is always looking at new ways to perfect his process. The growth never stopped and we count ourselves very lucky that we crossed paths.
A big shout out to our amazing engineering team who went above and beyond to design and machine a unique plaque to celebrate his incredible achievements, featuring a LeftField baseplate & Sterling Titanium Drumstix.
Many of you have had the pleasure of witnessing his extraordinary skill through our products, and we will truly miss him here at the company.
